穿透雾霾
“Papa,
please,”
Akeisha
said.
“I
just
want
to
see
the
stars
one
time.
One
time
to
get
above
the
smog(雾霾).”
She
knew
her
father
wouldnt
agree
with
her.
If
her
mother
had
been
stil
alive,
many
things
might
have
been
different.
But
that
was
like
wishing
for
clean
air.
Some
things
were
just
never
going
to
happen.
Papa
knocked
at
the
blender
down
harder
than
he
should.
“Ive
already
told
you
no.
Your
nana(保姆)
should
never
have
suggested
it.
She
knows
how
I
feel
about
the
rooftops(屋顶).
Im
afraid
to
stay
high.
You
fal
off
the
rooftop,
and
youre
going
to
paint
the
ground.”
He
looked
over
Akeishas
head.
Nana
stood
near
the
front
door.
“Shes
twelve,”
Papa
went
on.
“Just
a
kid.
She
should
think
about
▲ ,
not
stars.”
“Its
the
age
to
do
schoolwork,”
Nana
replied,
hanging
the
jacket
on
an
empty
hook
(挂 钩)
by
the
door.
“Not
everything
is
important,
but
the
key
card—wel,
thats
realy
important.”
And
she
made
sure
that
the
door
was
closed.
Four
hours
later,
Akeisha
closed
her
maths
textbook
and
rubbed
her
eyes.
If
she
wasnt
ready
for
the
test,
more
studying
wasnt
going
to
help.
Finaly,
the
whole
family
were
on
the
rooftop.
They
al
looked
tired,
looking
up
at
the
green-yelow
smog.
She
never
saw
a
different
sky.
But
she
was
sure
she
could
see
the
sky
with
stars
that
night.
