什么是幸福?
The
worlds
longest
scientific
study
of
happiness
was
launched
in
1938
by
scientists
at
Harvard
Medical
School.
After
so
many
years,
the
research
found
that
happy
people
al
shared
one
common
quality:
They
had
good
relation-
ships.
The
Harvard
Study
of
Adult
Development
started
a
research
project
to
find
out
what
makes
people
grow
healthy.
The
study
firstly
focused
on
268
people
but
later
expanded(扩大)
to
include
more
than
three
generations(代)
of
their
children.
In
al,
more
than
2,000
were
studied.
The
results
were
published
in
a
book—
The
Good
Life:
Lessons
from
the
Worlds
Longest
Scientific
Study
of
Happiness.
The
researchers
found
that
having
strong,
positive
relationships
made
people
feel
the
happiest.
The
relationships
could
be
with
a
partner,
another
family
member,
or
a
friend.
“The
reason
why
relationships
may
be
the
key
to
happiness
is
that
they
help
people
manage
stress,”
said
Robert
Waldinger,
the
study
director.
In
addition,
the
study
concluded
that
a
chalenging
life
is
often
a
happy
one
because
people
get
satisfaction
from
doing
hard
tasks,
such
as
raising
children
or
opening
a
business.
Its
also
OK
not
to
feel
happy
al
the
time,
the
study
found.
