When the new year is coming, we are all excited. At the same time, we all think about our resolutions.  

3、  Watch a video and we know the meaning of “resolution”. 

4、Show learning goals.

1) It’s my turn to make resolutions.

Show some pictures to students and guess what are my New Year’s resolutions. 

--I’m going to lose weight.

-- I’m going to make my sons happier and healthier.

-- They are going to eat healthier food and do more exercise.

-- I’m going to teach you to learn English well.

-- You are going to get good grades.
2）It’s students’ turn to make New Year’s Resolutions (write them down on the paper or on the blackboard)

New Year’s resolutions

  1) learn to play the piano

  2) make the soccer team

  3) get good grades

  4) eat healthier food

  5) get lots of exercise
