Write a Summary of a News Report

IV. Teaching Process

2. Presentation (15 minutes):

Show a news report and ask students to identify the main points. Then, explain the structure of a news report and how to identify the main points. Use examples from the news report to illustrate these points.

 

3. Practice (10 minutes):

Divide students into groups and give each group a news report to summarize. Encourage them to use appropriate language and expressions when summarizing. Afterward, have each group present their summary to the class.
