Yao Ming is taller than them. The North Pole is colder than China. I like new clothes. The black coat is newer than that one. Shanghai is busier than Hangzhou. London is bigger than Cambridge. 形容词比较级的基本句型: (1)基本句型: A + be动词 + 形容词比较级 + than + B 表示“A比B更……” Eg: Shanghai is bigger than Hongkong. (2)进行选择性比较时,可用:Which/ Who + be动词 + 形容词比较级, A or B ? Eg: Who is taller, Sally or Sandy? Eg: The more you study, the more you know. Eg:It’s getting hotter and hotter. Eg. The weather in Dalian is better than that in Beijing. The students in my class are stronger than those in his Class. A:(6)“be+形容词比较级+than any other+单数可数名词”相当于 “be+the+形容词的最高级+比较范围” Eg.He is taller than any other student in his class.= He is the tallest student in his class. (7)比较级前常有much, a little, a bit, a lot, even, far等词起修饰作用。 3. as…as…
