Task

Teaching Aims:

At the end of the class, the students will be able to:

1. Introduce themselves
2. Review simple present tense of the verb to be
3. Make writing structure before writing
4. Learn to appreciate and enjoy themselves

Teaching procedures:

Step 1: Warming up

Greet the students ,then introduce the coming writing competition.

    The aim is to get the students to be interested in the lesson.

Step 2: Pre-writing

Create some activities to help the students to make full use of their background on “ introducing oneself”.

  Activity 1: The main points of an introduction

Help the students to review some main points when introducing someone.

The aim is to get the students to integrate information from the whole unit to get the useful information.
