Dragon-Boat Racing is an important custom to celebrate Dragon-Boat Festival. When Qu Yuan drowned himself into the river, many fishermen rode their boats on the river, trying to find his body.Though they failed to make it,every year later locals would ride Dragon Boats in memory of4 Qu Yuan, hoping to disperse(使分散)creatures under the river in this way. In the late Qing Dynasty(1736),Taiwan started to hold Dragon Boat racing match and later the activity became popular in Hong Kong, too. In 1991,the 1st Intemational Dragon-Boat Festival was held in Yueyang City,Hunan Province, which is the second hometown of Qu Yuan. After that, the Hunan Province holds the International Dragon-Boat Festival regularly. When Qu Yuan jumped into the river, fishermen tried hard to find his body but failed. Some locals threw rice rolls, eggs and meat into the river to feed creatures under the river, hoping they wouldn't eat the body of Qu Yuan.Years later people used leaves to roll the rice rolls to make zongzi. Now eating zongzi has become an important part of Dragon-Boat Festival celebration. In southern China almost every household will eat zongzi when the festival comes.People can also buy zongzi in the stores. 【词块采撷】 ①fall on 降临；落到：袭击 ②along with 连同…一起；沿着 ③make it 达到预定目标；及时抵达；成功 ④in memory of 为了纪念 【亮句应用】 ①现在分词作状语 独家授权侵权必究· 学科网书城 品牌书店·知名教辅·正版资源 b.zxxk.com☐ 您身边的互联网+教辅专家 (2023-l月浙江)Over the past few years, many solar farm developers have transformed the space under their solar panels into a shelter for various kinds of pollinators, resulting in soil improvement and carbon reduction.在过去的几年里， 许多太阳能农场开发商将太阳能电池板下的空间改造成各种传粉媒介的庇护所， 从而改善了土壤并减少了碳排放。 ②非限制性定语从句 (2023-l月浙
