选择性必修一 Unit 5 WOKING THE LAND 课 题 Unit 5 WOKING THE LAND Period 4 Listening and Speaking 学 科 英语 班 级 授课教师 教 学目 标 By the end of this section, students will be able to: 1. identify and use some words, such as nutrition, and organic; 2. listen to and talk about the problem of world hunger; 3. practice listening to take notes and identify how the speaker supports his facts; 4. have a better understanding of World Food Day through organizing school activities for it; 5. grasp some expressions about sharing their opinions. 教 学 主 题 本部分的主题是“探索世界饥饿问题”(Explore the world hunger problem)，需要学生综合运用看、听、说等技能。学生通过一段广播中的访谈节目，了解当今世界依然面临严重的饥饿问题以及主要原因，积极思考、探讨消除饥饿的办法，最后以“世界粮食日”为切入点，策划一次校园活动，提出有意义的活动方案，提升大家对世界饥饿与粮食问题的认识。 教 学 重 点 1. 引导学生识别并运用该部分的主题词汇； 2. 引导学生运用一些听力技巧听懂有关世界饥饿问题的访谈，如做笔记，根据关键词识别支撑 性信息。 教 学难 点 1. 引导学生运用所学知识为“世界粮食日”策划一次校园活动； 2. 引导学生能够在对话中运用恰当的句式表达观点、陈述理由。 教 学 内 容 与 过 程 Step 1 Lead-in 老师通过呈现图片，导入今天的话题。 Step 2 Pre-listening 带领学生回顾袁隆平研究农业的初心，并完成教材P54活动1中的图片，观察图片 以及思考造成饥饿问题的原因。 Step 3 While-listening 1. 听录音，了解访谈节目大意，并抓取节目中提到的引起世界饥饿问题的主要原因。 2. 听录音完成P54活动2，回答相关问题，并提醒学生在听力过程中做笔记。 3. 带领学生学习活动3右边的听力策略；再播放音频，让学生学会运用该策略完成相 关任务。 4. 听录音，将访谈节目中的对话补充完整。 Step 4 Post-listening (Speaking) 1. 引导学生完成P54活动4，分组讨论并分类汇总涉及的世界饥饿问题的原因和解决方案。 2. 引导学生运用恰当的句式表达观点，为“世界粮食日”宣传活动出谋划策。 Step 5 Homework Prepare a speech for the WFD, calling on people to help alleviate the problem of the world hunger.
