Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m Li Hua, an exchange student from China. Learning that volunteer students are wanted for a Chinese painting exhibition, I’m writing to apply for the position.
I think I’m quite equal to the post. To begin with, having learned Chinese painting since a young age helps me develop a deep understanding of this unique art form. This makes it possible for me to explain the techniques and background of a certain painting. Besides, being fluent in both English and Chinese enables me to communicate with others without difficulty.
I would be grateful if you could take my application into consideration. Looking forward to your early reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
