According to Joe, what is important? What does he need to do? 组织学生复习前课内容，引入语言材料。 学生能够复述一部分前课所讲内容。 5’ 2.分析、识别非谓语动词在句子中的成分。 Step2 Analyze the two sentences: Underline the verbs in the two sentences. Which verbs are the main verbs? Why do we use “to do” in the sentences? What are the functions of them? 以旧带新，引导学生学习不定式的用法和功能。 学生能够找到句子中的动词，区分谓语动词和非谓语动词，了解不定式的功能。 8’ Step3 Find out the functions of the “to do” in the following five sentences: My mum keeps telling me to go out with my school friends instead. I do my best to achieve it. I can have more free time to do other things that I’m interested in. My target is to prepare myself for my degree in biology at university.
