四清导航 的 英语八年级上册人教版 单元语法精讲精练 情态动词can的用法 ·can是情态动词，没有人称和数的变化，但有时态的变化，它的过去式 为could,其后直接接动词原形，总结它的用法如下： ()表示能力，意为“能：会”，具体指体力或脑力方面的能力。 eg:I can play basketball.我会打篮球。 (2)表示允许，意为“可以；能够”。 eg:You can't go now.你现在不能走。 (3)表示委婉地邀请或向别人征求意见。 eg:Can you come to my house?你能到我家里来吗？ (4)表示推测，意为“可能”。 eg:This can't be true.这不可能是真的。 can在表示邀请时的用法 当用情态动词can发出邀请时，要用其一般疑问句形式：Can you/he/she/they 十动词原形？can在此句型中表示请求的语气，意为“能；可以”。 表示接受邀请，可以说“Sure,I'd love to..”,意为“当然，我很愿意。”其中to 不可以省略；或“Sure,I think he/she/they will..”,意为“当然，我想他/她/他们会 的。” P表示拒绝邀请时，可以用Sorry,Ican't.,表示委婉拒绝，再用'I have to十v.” 或“be十v.-ig”结构表达必须得做什么或要去做什么来说明理由。替他人拒绝时， 可以回答No,he/she/they can't.然后再用“He/She/They have(has)to”或“be+v.-ing” 来说明理由。 【注意】can在邀请中可以用coud代替，其语气更委婉。 一、根据问句或答语及括号内所给提示语，完成下列对话。 1.- Can you play volleyball with me (can,play volleyball,me) -Sure,I'd love to. 2.-Would you like to go out with me tonight? -I'm afraid not.I have to practice the piano.(afraid,have to,practice the piano) 3.-Can Jenny go fishing with us this weekend? -No,she can't.She might have to see her grandparents (no,might have to,see her grandparents) 4.- Can he go to the basketball game (can,go,basketball game) -Yes,he can. 5.-Can they go to summer camp?
