新概念英语2 第二十七课A wet night笔记 一、单词积累 1.tent n.帐篷 2.field n.田，地；领域 ①football field 足球场地 ②research field 研究领域 ③in one's field 在...领域 He is an expert in his field. 他是那个领域里的专家。 3.smell v.闻起来 smell 是感官动词，也是系动词，后面可以接形容词作表语，说明主语所处的状态。 These flowers smell sweet.这些花闻起来很香。 除了smell 以外，还有几个常见的感官动词： 看起来look 尝起来taste 听起来sound 感觉起来feel 4.campfire n.营火，篝火 5.creep （crept, crept）v.爬行 creep into 爬进去 creep 多指人或四足动物匍匐爬行，尤指偷偷地或不出声地缓慢向前爬行。也指植物的蔓延生长等。 6.sleeping bags 睡袋 7.comfortable adj.舒服的，安逸的 comfortably adv.舒服地 8.soundly adv.酣睡；睡得沉 sleep soundly 熟睡 Both of them were sleeping soundly. 9.leap v.跳跃（leapt/leaped、leapt/leaped） look before you leap 三思而后行 leap forward 快速发展 10.heavily adv.沉重地，大量地 rain/snow heavily 下大雨/雪 breathe heavily 呼吸沉重；气喘吁吁 11.stream n.溪流 ①main stream 主干道 ②a stream of 一连串 It was a stream of unhappy events 那是一连串不幸的事件。 12.wind （wound、wound）v.蜿蜒（wind常见的含义是“风”） wind one's way 蜿蜒前进 13.flow v.流动 In summer, the rivers no longer flow. 在夏天，江河已断流。 二、句子理解 1.Late in the afternoon, the boys put up their tent in the middle of a field. （1）为了更确切地表达时间，可以在时间短语in the morning，in the afternoon前面加副词early和late。 如新概念第二册第12课中的句子：We'll meet him at the harbour early in the morning. （2）和put有关的动词短语： ①put on 穿上；戴上 put on a coat穿外套 ②put away 收起来，放好 The girl put away her dolls. 小女孩放好了她的洋娃娃。 ③put off 延期；阻碍 put off your homework 拖延作业 ④put out 熄灭；发表 put out a fire 熄火 put out a weekly newsletter ⑤put up with sb. 忍受；容忍 ⑥put forward 提出；拿出 put forward a plan 提出一个计划 ⑦put down 写下；放下 put down the books 放下书本 （3）in the middle of 在...中间，可以表示时间，地点，或事情处在某个过程中。 2.After a wonderful meal, they told stories and sang songs by the campfire. （1）after +名词，意为“在...之后” （2）by the campfire 在营火旁 by 指距离，表示“靠近，在...旁边” There is a lake by the library. 图书馆旁边有一个湖。 http://3.In the middle of the night, two boys woke up and began shouting. in the middle of the night相当于midnight at midnight 在午夜 语法 But some time later it began to rain. 四个单词的区别： some time some times sometime sometimes 1.some time 中间有空格，后面没有s。 由两个单词构成，是一个名词短语，表示“一段时间”。这里的time表示“时间”
