V+ing, adj, 主动,修饰事 V+ed, adj, 被动,修饰人 2. receive v. 接收,收到 accept v.接受 I received a gift this morning, but I didn't accept it.(二者的区别可以理解为:receive+乐意地=accept) 3.firm n.商号,公司 adj. 坚定的,结实的 law firm 法律事务所 consulting firm 咨询公司 4.different adj.不同的,差异的 difference n. 差异,不同 常用搭配:be different from 与...不同 We are different from plants. 5. abroad adv. 在国外 go abroad 去国外; live abroad 住在海外(不说live in abroad) It is very expensive to study abroad. 文章讲解 1.He is working for a big firm and he has already visited a great number of different places in Australia. (1)work for 为...工作,在...上班 (2)a great/ large/ small/good number of +可数名词复数 A large number of books have been stolen. (3)a great/good deal of + 不可数名词 He needs a great deal of money. 2.He has just bought an Australian car and has gone to Alice springs. has gone to 去了某地没回来 has been to 曾经去过某地 ——Tom has gone to Beijing. He will be back next week. I hope he will have fun. I have been there only once. 3. My brother has never been abroad before,so he is finding this trip very exciting. 提炼句型: (1)sb. has never done sth. before, so sb. is finding ... I have never seen such a beautiful sky before, so I am finding this experience very interesting. (2)find "发现"、"发觉"时宾语往往带补足语(一般为形容词),说明宾语的状况、性质等。 语法解析 1.同位语 一个名词(或其它形式)对另一个名词或代词进行解释或补充说明,这个名词(或其它形式)就是同位语。 I have just received a letter from my brother, Tim.(Tim 是mybrother 的同位语。Tim 用来补充说明my brother的名字) He has just bought an Australian car and has gone to Alice springs, a small town in the centre of Australia.(a small town in the centre of Australia是Alice springs的同位语,补充说明这是个多大的镇子,在什么地方) 2.现在完成时 (1)结构:助动词have/has +过去分词 (2)I have just received a letter from my brother, Tim. He has been there for six months. (3)含义: 动作发生已经完成,且对现在有影响; 动作从过去持续到现在,有可能持续下去。 常与现在完成时连用的词语:before ;just;recently;already;for +一段时间; ever,never 等。 $$
