If so, you must hear of the word “Hollywood”. For many people, the word “Hollywood” has two meanings. Hollywood is a place in Los Angeles, California, the USA. Hollywood is also the home of American movies. Hollywood was just farmland(农田)at the beginning of the 20th century. The weather was so terrible that he couldn’t finish the movie. He had to find a warmer place. He decided to take a trip to the south of California and found it was sunny all year round there. The director thought the south of California was the best place for making movies. The next year, his company set up a movie studio(电影制片厂)in Hollywood.
