状语从句 Jim joined the army in 1989. （介词短语作时间状语） Jim joined the army when he was 20. （when引导的时间状语从句） He picked up some French words in Paris. （介词短语作地点状语） He picked up some French words when he was in Paris. （when引导的时间状语从句） I will help you if you ask me. （if引导的条件状语从句） He wears a T-shirt though it is cold. （though 引导的让步状语从句） 1、 状语从句的概念 什么是状语？？ 简单理解，状语就是从不同的角度去修饰谓语动词。 比如： 我今天很开心。（“今天”就是状语） 我在广州教英语。（“在广州”就是状语） 定语从句和状语从句都是起修饰作用的句子。定语从句修饰名词或者代词，状语从句修饰动词。 什么是状语从句？ 1. 定义： 在主从复合句中，用于修饰主句中动词、形容词或副词的句子，叫状语从句。 2. 类型：状语从句按其在句中的作用分为：时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、方式、让步、比较状语从句九类。 3. 位置：由从属连词引导，可位于主句前，亦可位于主句后。位于句首时，用逗号与其后的主句隔开。 4. 注意：状语从句的连词是从属连词，引导的从句成分完整，连词不在其中充当成分,只起连接作用.（在定从中，关系代词that, which通常在从句中充当成分，注意区分） 2、 时间状语从句 1）由when引导。翻译为：当…的时候 如： When I came into the room, he was writing a letter. We shall go there when we are free. When the weather is fine, many people go out for a walk. 2）由while，as 引导 while指“ 在某一段时间里” ，“ 在… 期间” ，while引导的动作必须是持续性的。（且持续性的动词常用进行时态） as引导持续性动作，强调主句和从句的动作同时发生，从句常译作“ 一边… 一边… ” 。 如：While it was raining, they went out. He hurried home, looking behind as he went. 【when, while, as的区别】 when 延续性动词； 非延续性动词 1.表示瞬间，也可以表示时间段； 2. 与主句的动作可以同时发生，也可以先后发生 The film had been on when we arrived.
