How long is...? ……有多长? 「注意]询问物体的长、宽、高可以使用how long/wide/tall/high,其回答使用:Its+数词+名词(表示量)+ long/wide/tall/high。 eg:-How tall is the tree? -It's three metres tall. -那棵树有多高?-它有3米高。 Unit3 A day out 第二课时 Reading(1) 知识点总结 1.join vt.& vi.加入,参加 指加入某党派、团体、组织等,并成为其中成员之一。 [注意]①join sb.指“与某人一起”;②join sb.in doing sth.指“和某人一起做某事”; ③take part in指“积极主动参加某项活动”。 2. boring adj.乏味的。用来表示某事或某物令人感到厌烦。 [注意]①bored为形容词,表示某人对某事或某物感到厌烦; ②bore 为动词,意为“使厌烦”。 3.finally adv.最后 [注意]①形容词形式为final;②同义表达为 at last,in the end。 4. arrive at/in 到达 [注意]①at后跟小地方。 eg:arrive at the park到达公园 in 后跟大地方,如:国家、城市等。 eg:arrive in China 到达中国;②同义表达为 get to与reach; ③单纯地表示“到达”不加地点时用 arrive。 eg:-When will they arrive? -At 10 o'clock. -他们将于什么时候到达? -在10 点钟。 5.get off 下车。常指下公共汽车。[注意]①geton指上公共汽车;②上小汽车用 get into the car 表示;③下小汽车用 get out of the car 表示。 6.
