Some schools allow students to go to tutoring schools to help them get admitted by their favorite universities.
The Netherlands

As for middle school students, teachers never spend time teaching the textbooks, and generally guide students to discuss related topics. “Besides learning, the most important task for middle school students is to have a clearer understanding of their abilities and interests, improve their social skills and have a basic plan for their future.” said Arie Slob, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education in the Netherlands.
