【What】本听力精听部分语篇以外国高中生Amy 到中国学习第一天报到的情况展开。第一段材料描述了Amy 办理入学报到手续。第二段对话关于同学Amy 和Max在餐厅相遇并讨论自己喜欢的科目,语气较为随意。第三段对话是关于Amy 向老师咨询课程选择,语言较为正式。

学情分析
经过了初中三年的学习和积累,高一学生已经具备1000左右的英语词汇量,具有一定的英语口语表达能力,在具体的语境中能够表达自己的想法和观点。同时,他们也掌握了一些听力技巧。在老师的技法点拨下,大部分应该能理解听力文本大意,并为speaking环节做充分准备。

2.use listening strategies: predicting, finding key words, word-guessing

教学重点:
Learn to use the listening strategies and new words and expressions to understand the conversations, and summarize the considerations for getting to know new people.
教学难点:
Apply what they have learnt to their own conversations about introductions, greetings, responses in which they use proper formal and informal dialogues.
