Interpretation Good morning, dear judges and teachers. I’m candidate number 2. It’s my great honor to be here sharing my teaching ideas with you. I will present in the following five parts：Analysis of the teaching material and students, the teaching aims, the key and difficult points, the teaching methods, and the teaching procedures. Part 1 Analysis of the teaching material and students This is a reading lesson. The reading passage is in Unit 1 from Book 2. The title is . The passage talks about . The students for this lesson are in Grade 2. They have a certain amount of vocabulary and some basic reading skills. Most of them look forward to new tasks and activities designed by their teacher. Part 2 Teaching Aims By the end of this class, the Ss will be able to (1)master some new words and expressions such as ….. (2)understand the meaning of the whole passage. (1) The Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing will be developed. (2) The student’s reading ability, especially their skimming and scanning ability will be improved. Part 3 the Key and Difficult Points The key point is Students will be guided to master the usage of the new words and phrases and also they should master the passage meaning. The difficult point is Students will improve their reading skills especially the ability of skimming and scanning. Part 4 Teaching Methods As is known to us all, a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help Ss develop good sense of the English language. In order to achieve the teaching aims. I will adopt TBLT method, discussion method and cooperative method, and try to build a student-centered class to facilitate their autonomous and cooperative learning.
