A design for Unit 7 Writing A school club poster Lesson type: Writing Class： Class 2 Grade7 I．Analysis of teaching material The selected material is from Writing of Unit 7 of New English Book(Oxford) for Grade 7. It is a topic about school club poster. The material aims at teaching students the skills of writing and how to make a poster, it also aims at consolidating the simple past tense. II. Analysis of students These years, in order to obey the rules of “teaching students in accordance of their aptitude and the IE theory, our school has divided our students into two levels. Level A refers to the advanced students. Level B refers to the students who are below average level. The students I am going to teach are the students of Nanwu Middle School, the students of this class belong to Level B in Nanwu Middle school, but their levels are equal to our students of Level A. According to description about teaching aims from the “New standard of English course” and the level of my students, I set the followinging as my teaching aims. III. Teaching aims A.
