Unit 7 Reading - The Clubs Fair 教学设计 一、课型：阅读课 二、教材及学情分析：本文是本单元的重点阅读文章，讲述学校社团，是学生感兴趣的话题。学生的英语水平中等，对英语有一定的兴趣。但部分同学对阅读有畏难情绪。大多数同学不敢开口说英语。因此，本设计先用多媒体引入，吸引学生兴趣。然后在读中活动中训练多样阅读微技能。最后，以海报形式输出，并口头介绍海报内容。 三、教学目标： 1语言知识目标： 深入理解文本内容，归纳描述社团活动的句型。 2能力目标：通过阅读标题和图片，预测文章的话题和大致内容； 通过略读和找读等阅读微技能深入理解课文； 通过做社团宣传海报把课内英语知识运用到实际生活中。 3情感与态度目标：通过了解社团活动与做社团海报，增强对校园生活的热爱。 四、教学重点：以文章为载体，训练学生的阅读微技能――略读、找读。 五、教学难点：让学生把所学的描述社团的句型以海报的形式呈现。 六、教学过程： 教学环节 教师活动 学生活动 设计意图 Step 1 Warming-up （热身） 1. Ask students: What clubs do you join in our school? 2. Lead students to brainstorm more clubs in our school in different ways. 1. Talk about what clubs they join. 2. Guess the names of clubs according to sounds, pictures and description. 1. 通过问题引入话题：学校社团 2. 班级学生所加入的社团有限，通过运用多媒体引导学生说出更多社团的名称。 Step 2 Pre-reading Activity （读前活动） 1. Ask students to do Ex.A1,P86 2. Ask students to do Before you read (1) What is the article about: family life or school life? (2) How many clubs can you find in the article? 1. Do Ex.A1, P86—match the names of clubs with pictures. 2. Do Before You Read—Look at the pictures and the title of the article and answer 2 questions. 1. 从本学校的社团过渡课文的Rosie Bridge School的社团。 2. 渗透阅读微技能――看图与标题了解文章大意 Step 3 While-reading Activity （读中活动） 1. 1st reading Ask students to read after the video and divide the article into 4 parts according to the given key words Part 1 Attended the Clubs Fair Part 2 The Rocket Club Part 3 The Solar Power Club Part 4 Excited and wanted to join all 2. 2nd reading Ask students to do True or False exercise. Underline the answers in the article and correct the false ones. (1) Linda and Leo were very surprised to see the rocket disappear into the sky. (2) The rocket will go all the way into space. (3) The girl drove a toy car all around the play ground. (4) Linda and Leo only learnt about two clubs. 3. 3rd reading (1)Ask students to look at the table and think about what parts should be read to get the answers. (2)Ask students to fill in the table.
