Module 3 Travels_Unit 6 Travelling around Asia_Reading Visiting Shanghai 1教学目标 1. 通过听、说、读、写多种形式的阅读活动与任务,指导学生进一步巩固和运用已学的阅读技巧与方法,培养阅读微技能,如:了解文章大意,搜寻细节信息以及分类和归纳文章内容等,从而提高学生的阅读理解能力。 2. 通过指导学生在模拟交际中运用所学的知识,培养学生探究学习、合作学习、自主学习的能力。 3. 拓展学生的文化视野,激发学生对祖国和所在城市的风土人情的兴趣和热情。 2学情分析 1. 学生对于“旅游”比较熟悉,有利于开展本课的各项听说读写任务。 2. 本班大部分学生的英语水平处于中下等程度,优生少,所以课程内容设计的难度适中,以基础性练习为主,并通过在教学中开展小组合作和竞争的活动,鼓励学生积极参与。 3重点难点 了解主阅读篇章的结构和关键信息;能够模仿主阅读篇章完成短文,并复述上海的3处著名景点。 4教学过程4.1 第一学时4.1.1教学活动活动1【导入】Step　1　Warming　up 1. Show some photos of traveling, ask the students: what are these places and where are they? (目的:唤醒学生的相关图式,更好地引入traveling这一话题。) 2. Show a video and some pictures of the famous places in Shanghai, ask the students to guess which place is it. (目的:以图片和问题来吸引学生,以激发他们进一步了解上海这些景点的兴趣。) 活动2【讲授】Step　2　Pre－reading Guide the students to finish some exercises according to the title, sub-headings and photos of the article. (目的:培养学生通过关注标题、副标题和图片,迅速捕捉课文主要信息的能力。) 活动3【讲授】Step　3　While－reading 1. Ask the students to find out the features of each places to introduce Shanghai to their friends. (目的:通过快速寻找每个景点的特色,让学生深入文本,进一步系统地梳理文本内容。) 2. Ask the students to read the article paragraph by paragraph and complete the information chart. (目的:引导学生细读课文,了解课文的细节信息,让他们学会分类和归纳文章的主要信息,并进一步理解介绍景点的要素。) 3. Ask the students to underline and recite the useful sentences to describe a place. (目的:让学生进一步记忆和巩固文章的重点词句,以便更好地运用。) 4. Pair Work: Ask students to work in pairs, ask and answer questions according to the table.
