7A Unit 5 Visiting the Moon (Listening and Speaking) Teaching Plan I. Learning goals By the end of this period, students will be able to 1. improve the listening skills of predicting contents and catching keywords. 2. talk about plans with the simple present tense. 3. make travel plans with the mind-map. II. Students analysis There are totally 48 students in Class 2 Grade 7. These students’ English level is average. They are lack of a large vocabulary and chances of speaking English. But they are making progress in groups. III. Important and difficult points · Important points: 1. improve the listening skills including predicting answers in the given passage before listening and catching the key information while listening. 2. use the mind-map to make travel plans and get to know about how to make a travel plan from three prospects: sightseeing, eating and shopping. · Difficult points Use the simple future tense (will do and be going to do) to talk about travel plans.
