专题四 数词 一.定义:表示数目多少或顺序多少的词叫数词,数词分为基数词和序数词。表示数目多少的数词叫基数词;表示顺序的数词叫序数词。 二.基数词的构成 (1)1∽12独立成词,有其各自的形式。 1.one 2.two 3.three 4.four 5.five 6.six 7.seven 8.eight 9.nine 10.ten 11.eleven 12.twelve (2)13∽19的基数词以-teen结尾。 13.thirteen 14.fourteen 15.fifteen 16.sixteen 17.seventeen 18.eighteen 19.nineteen (3)20∽90整十位的都以-ty结尾。 20.twenty 30.thirty 40.forty 50.fifty 60.sixty 70.seventy 80.eighty 90.ninety (4)几十几的写法:十位数加个位数,中间用连字符“-”连接。 26.twenty-six 57.fifty-seven (5)101∽999的写法:百位数与十位数之间用and连接。 123 one hundred and twenty-three 507 five hundred and seven (6)1000以上的基数词的构成 “千”用thousand表示,英语中没有“万”这个单位,“百万”用million表示。 l,000以上,先从右往左数,每三位数加一个“,”,第一个“,”前为thousand.第二个“,”前为million,第三个“,”前为billion。 1,001 one thousand and one 9,785 nine thousand, seven hundred and eighty-five 18,423 eighteen thousand, four hundred and twenty-three 6,260,309 six million two hundred and sixty thousand three hundred and nine 三.基数词的用法 1.表示年份,年代 (1)年份用in+基数词 在1990年 in 1990(读作 in nineteen ninety) 在2001年 in 2001(读作 in two thousand and one) (2)年代用“in the +整十年份的复数”表示几世纪几十年代。 在20世纪80年代 in the 1980s (读作in the ninety eighties) 在21世纪20年代 in the 2020s(读作in the twenty twenties) 2. 表示年龄 (1)直接用基数词+years old 我爷爷80岁了。My grandfather is 80/eighty years old.
