One of the things dog owners need to do every day is to walk their animals. However, some dog owners are not walking their dogs in a "civilized(文明的)"manner. leading to many problems. Here, I have some suggestions for them. First, when dog owners walk their animals. they should always keep them on a leash(皮带). The leash is an important piece of equipment. It can prevent tragedies(悲剧)such as dogs getting lost or fighting with other dogs. Besides, it can prevent dogs from running into road traffic and causing traffic accidents(and. in some situations. getting themselves injured). Most importantly, with a leash. dogs won't jump at passers-by. Dog owners must understand that not everybody likes dogs. Some people are very afraid of dogs. Secondly, dog owners should avoid walking their animals in the rush hour. On early mornings and late evenings, there are few people walking hurriedly on the street. I think these are better times for dog owners to walk their dogs. People don't have to steer clear of(绕开)dogs, and dogs can probably enjoy themselves more. Also, dog owners must clean up their dogs' mess(粪便)in time. They should always bring along with them some old newspapers or toilet paper. It will be terrible if someone steps in the mess their dogs have left. Last but not least, dog owners should train their dogs to behave themselves when they are in public.
