What is the video about 设计意图：通过图片和视频导入课文，激发学生学习兴趣。 Step 2 Prediction What do you think the passage talks about according to the title and the pictures? 设计意图：让学生阅读标题预测文章内容以及标题所蕴含的意思。 Step 3 Reading 1. Fast reading T asks Ss to read the article and figure out its main idea and structure with the help of the tip “Identifying the chronological order”. Try to identify the structure. Why should we never forget the attack on Pearl Harbor? Possible answer: Because it is a reminder of the horror of war. Many lives are lost in wars. Families are torn apart and those who survive wars are often left with injuries to their bodies or their minds. Furthermore, the attack on Pearl Harbor should be a reminder that maintaining peace throughout the world is the only way this kind of tragedy would never happen again. 2. Read the sentence from President Xi “Take the history as a mirror, remember the sacrifice of ancestors, and cherish present peace.”
