Which club can she join? 语法讲解 本单元例句 情态动词can 的各种含义 (1) 表示体力或智力上的能力。意为“能,会”。 eg： I can’t swim. 我不会游泳。 Can you finish this work this week? 你能在本周完成这项工作吗？ (2) 表示客观可能性，意为 “可以，可能”。 eg： That big cinema can seat 2,000 people. 那家大电影院能坐 2,000人。 Temperature can reach 35 ℃ in the summer here. 这儿夏天的气温能达到35摄氏度。 语法讲解 (3) 表示允许（和may意思相近），意为 “可以”。 eg： You can have the book when I have finished it. 这本书我看完了，可以给你。 —Can I go now? —Yes, you can. ——现在我能走了吗？ ——是的，你可以了。 (4) 表示惊异、不相信等语气(用于疑问句、否定句或感叹句中)，意为“会，可能”。 eg： — Can she be English? — She can’t be English.
