Attributive Clause has been learnt in Book 1, so this period will further illustrate the form, meaning and function of relative clause in order to help students use relative clause properly in authentic situation, especially to describe people and things in greater details. And it also helps to raise the students’ rational thinking abilities. Analysis of the students 1)This is the first time for both of us to interact in the class, which maybe a little bit nervous. 2)The students’ English level maybe not very excellent. Therefore , how to guide the class to master the grammar effectively is a difficulty . 3)They have learnt the attributive clause already, but the rules and usages should be consolidated effectively and smoothly. Learning objectives At the end of this section,students will be able to: 1)Language Competence: identify the form, meaning and function of relative clauses and master the usages of relative pronoun and relative adverb in attributive clause. 2)Cultural Awareness :better understand the other aspects of the theme context---intangible cultural heritage,which may arouse Ss’ Chinese cultural confidence. 3)Thinking Quality :complete these learning tasks logically and critically. 4)Learning Ability: foster their independent problem-solving skills together with the cooperative spirit. Teaching key points: 1) Identify the form, meaning and function of relative clause. 2) Reinforce the usages of relative pronoun and relative adverb in attributive clause .
