Materials: Whiteboard and markers Handouts with vocabulary words and expressions Audio recording about public holidays Worksheets with comprehension questions and writing prompts Procedure: Warm-up : Start by asking students what their favorite holiday is and why. Write their answers on the board. Then ask if they know any other public holidays celebrated around the world. Vocabulary: Introduce vocabulary words related to public holidays. Use visual aids and examples to help them understand the meaning of each word.
