第一部分 语法知识分层突破 71 All for me, one for all. 人人为我，我为人人。 10 状语从句（二） 目的状语从句用以补充说明主句中谓语动作发生的目的；结果状语从句在复合句中表示主 句动作所导致的结果；让步状语从句表示条件退让一步。 语 法 知 识 精 讲 一、目的状语从句 引导目的状语从句的从属连词有 so that，in order that，in case 等。从句中一般含有 can， could，may，might，will，would 等情态动词。如： Say it louder (so) that everyone can hear you. 大声说，以便大家都能听到你。 I left at 6:00 so that / in order that I could catch the train. 为了赶上火车，我六点就出门了。 注意：so that 引导目的状语从句时有时可省略 so 而只用 that，有时也可只用 so。如： Bring it closer that I might see it better. 拿近些，使我能看得清楚些。 I’ll show you so you can see how it’s done. 我将做给你看，以便你知道应该怎样做。 目的状语从句与状语短语的转换 当目的状语从句的主语与主句的主语相同时，目的状语从句有时可用表目的的不定式 短语替换。如： He got up early so that he could catch the early bus. = He got up early so as to catch the early bus. 他起床很早以便赶上早班车。 He came in quietly in order that he shouldn’t wake his wife. =He came in quietly in order not to wake his wife. 他悄悄地进来，以免把他妻子吵醒。 二、结果状语从句 引导结果状语从句的从属连词有 so that（以致，结果），so... that... / such... that...（如此…… 以至于）等。 语法分层突破 八年级 72 The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you will see. 你回首看得越远 , 你向前也会看得越远。 1. so that 引导结果状语从句时意为“结果，所以”。如： Write out this word ten times so that you learn how to spell it. 把这个单词抄写十遍就能记住怎么拼写了。 I went to the lecture early so that I got a good seat. 我去听演讲去得很早，所以找了个好座位。 2. so... that... 意为“如此……以至于……”，其中的 so 后接形容词或副词。如： He was so angry that he couldn’t speak. 他气得话都说不出来。 He runs so fast that none of us can catch up with him. 他跑得很快，我们没一个能追上他。 3. such... that... 意为“如此……以至于……”，其中的 such 后接名词 ( 名词前通常有形容 词修饰 )。如： It gave him such a shock that his face turned white. 这使他如此震惊，他脸都白了。 He is such a clever boy that we all like him. 这个孩子这样聪明，我们都喜欢他。 1. 辨别目的状语从句和结果状语从句的方法 （1）根据句子结构辨别 从句谓语中含有情态动词 may/might， can/could/should/would 等，这时 so that 引导 的是一个目的状语从句；从句前面有逗号和主句相隔，此时 so that 引导的是一个结果状 语从句。如： Yesterday morning Yang Cheng got up early so that she could catch the early bus. 昨天早上杨成为了赶上早班车起得很早。( 目的状语从句 ) Yesterday morning Yang Cheng got up early, so that she caught the early bus. 昨天早上杨成起得很早，因此，她赶上了早班车。( 结果状
