What are they about? ② Have you ever seen the movies or TV plays based on these books? What do you think of them? 2.Ss look at the pictures in Activity 1 and answer the questions. 3.T introduces some of the six books or films. Step 2 Reading Activity 2 (Scanning) T asks Ss to scan the passage to find out which of the books in Activity 1 are mentioned. Answer: The Great Gatsby and The Iliad. Activity 3 (Careful-reading) 1.
