Teaching key and difficult points 1. Teaching key point Students can grasp the opinions of speakers’ view of great people and reasons of admiration. They can realize the importance of language fillers in conversation. 2. Teaching difficult point They are able to state their ideas to talk about great people with using language fillers, which make natural conversation. Ⅱ Lesson Procedures Step 1: Review Timing 2 minutes Procedures 1. Review the qualities of the great people studied in the last lesson. 2. Ask students if ordinary people with the same qualities can become great people (No need to answer, come to this lesson with questions.) Aims 1. To review what they have learned. 2. To activate class atmosphere, arouse the students’ interest and inspire students to think about the connections between ordinary people and great people.
