《高中英语（上外版）》选择性必修第三册 Unit 1 Fighting stress 课时：第二课时 课型： 阅读与词汇课 一、教学设计与说明 1. 教学目标 教学内容：Stress 本课为本单元的第二课时，核心目标为引导学生在基于理解课文的基础上掌握话题相 关词汇，熟悉新词难词的主要用法，并且学会模仿文中一些特色鲜明的句型。 2. 设计思路 学生通过第一课时，对文章的整体框架、主题大意、叙事脉络有了很好的理解。本 课时的目的是带领学生挖掘与“压力”这一话题密切相关的的词汇和短语，更好理解这些 词汇在文中的作用。同时，让学生体会设问句和平行结构这一修辞手法的效果，并尝试仿 照课文句型改写一段开头段落，最终过渡到独立创作一个起始段落。 第一环节着重学习词汇。学生就“压力”这个关键词进行词汇联想的头脑风暴，讲 出任何跃入脑中的词汇。学生可能会想到压力引起的一些负面感受和状态，或一些帮助应 对压力的正面心态和行动，通过这个活动初步建立起话题词汇网。下一步，落实到认识和 理解课文中关于“压力”的重要词汇，训练分类搜索能力，通过活动加深对这些词汇的理 解和应用。 第二环节着重学习词汇和表达。教师利用教材配套的词汇练习，首先向学生解释词 汇和表达的含义。学生先就部分重点词汇进行写句练习，之后，学生要把所给的词汇和表 达串联成完成的一个故事。教师挑选部分同学在班级分享他们的写作，并对语言的使用进 行反馈。 第三环节是学习课文起始段落中设问句和平行结构的运用，体会平行结构的效用， 并将一篇描写“挚友”的起始段落改写为排比设问句的句型。 回家作业中，学生需要进一步活用设问句和平行结构，运用种修辞手法写一段关于 “健身应用软件”的介绍，并尽可能地运用到课文中的词汇。 3. 重点难点 1 指出课文首段运用的主要修辞手法，体会平行结构的主要作用，将指定段落改写为排 比设问句。 Lesson Plan By the end of this period, students will be able to: 1. have a good command of the words and expressions related to the topic of “stress”; 2. understand the new words and phrasal verbs in the context and practice using them; 3. explore the effectiveness of parallelism and employ rhetoric questions and parallelism in introducing a topic.
