1. Help students to understand the tips on moving on to another topic.
T: Imagine this situation: You’re having a great conversation with a person you’ve just met. You’re talking about a topic that both of you are really interested in, and you’re sharing ideas happily. You’re both asking great questions and responding with enthusiasm, but then suddenly… silence. This means the topic has come to its natural conclusion.
T: Then if the partner has talked too much on a certain topic, what would you like to say to move on to another topic?
T: You can refer to the tips on moving on to another topic.
T: I think we’ve talked enough about this point. Maybe we could move on…
T: I think there’s nothing more to talk about this aspect. Let’s change the topic to….
2. Get the students to discuss the protection of heritage sites.
T: Let’s discuss the protection of heritage sites, using the following to help you:
▪ The Importance of protecting heritage sites
▪ Methods of protection
(If the students still have difficulty in the discussion, play the recording B, which can give some hints on the topic.)

Sample answer:
