I've lived here since I was born. Has the town changed a lot over the years? Now the government has turned part of the town into a new park. It has become impossible for us to see each other as often as before. Now I feel a bit lonely from time to time. IIL.Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty To use new language points correctly. IV.Teaching procedures Step 1 Revision 1.Changes in Sunshine Town Help the students to review the changes in Sunshine Town.Give them chances to show themselves in class and remind them that they should pay attention to the tense when they describe the past and the present of Sunshine Town. 2.Group work Work in groups and discuss the changes Mr Chen has experienced. 【设计意图:指导学生用不同的时态来描述不同时段的状态,同时给学生展示自我的机会。 就Chen和阳光镇的变化给出一些关键词,帮助学生理清文章的脉络。】 Step 2 Presentation 1.Mr Chen's housing (1)Ask the students to work in pairs and make an interview about Mr Chen's housing with the help of the chart,some pictures and some key words.
