Section B Reading---Do you remember what you were doing? 学情分析： The students of Grade 8 have certain language skills, such as reading comprehension ability and writing ability. However, many students still have a weak foundation. Most of them don’t know the two events well. So I add a lot of materials to fully prepare for reading to arouse the students’ expectations and enthusiasm for reading this passage. 教学目标： At the end of the class, students will be able to: 1. learn to get the main idea from the title and pictures in the passage. 2. know about some specific information of the two events Martin Luther King was killed and the 9.11 event by using different reading strategies. 3. describe the important events in the world or around them according to some key words: what, when, where, who, how. 4. learn some good qualities from Martin Luther King and Yuan Longping. 5.
