We use the present continuous tense to talk about things we are doing when we speak.

We add ‘ing’ to the action word in the present continuous tense.

We can use ‘What are you doing?’ to find out what other people are doing.

We use ‘are’ with ‘you’.

We are eating.
‘You’ can refer to more than one person.
= two people
How do we talk about other people then?

He + is + …ing
We use He is … to talk about what a boy is doing.
Sometimes we need to
double the last letter
before we add ing.
