Language points 一、询问及描述外貌 1. 询问长相 句型:What + do / does + sb. + look like? 你长什么样? 他长什么样? What do you look like? What does he look like? e.g. 2. 三种描述方法 ①主语 + be + 形容词 ②主语 + have / has + 名词 ③主语 + be of + …height (表外貌特征的形容词) (名词前可有多个形容词修饰) (指身高) He is tall/short/thin/heavy. 他个子高/矮/瘦/胖。 He is of medium height. 他中等身高。 She has long/short/curly/straight hair. 她留着长/短/卷/直发。 e.g. ① - Is he tall or short? 他是高是矮? - He is tall. 他是个高个头。 ② - Do you like dogs or cats? 你喜欢狗还是猫? - I like dogs. 我喜欢狗。 ③ - Does your sister have straight or curly hair? 你的姐姐留着直发还是卷发? - She has curly hair. 她留着卷发。 选择疑问句是指说话人提出两种或两种以上的情况,问对方选择哪一种,最后两个选择项用or连接。 不能用yes或no回答。 二、选择疑问句 (1) 一般疑问句+选择项+or+选择项? ① — What color do you like, red or black? — I like red. ② — What subject do you like best, Chinese, math or English? — I like English best. (2) 特殊疑问句+选择项+or+选择项? 三、多个形容词的排列顺序 多个形容词修饰同一个名词,这些形容词有其固定的排列顺序。 基本顺序为: 限定词(冠词、 指示代词、物主代词、数词等)+表示观点的描述性形容词(beautiful, clever 等)+ 大小长短 + 形状(round,straight 等)+ 新旧+颜色+国籍/地区+材料(wooden)等+名词。 She has beautiful long curly blonde hair. 她留着漂亮的、长的
