This project is well suited to volunteers who want to help with the reef species monitoring, sea turtle recovery and weekly beach plastic removal. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, unless volunteering with a friend or family member who is 18 or older. You aren’t required to have any specialized experience, as you’ll receive comprehensive training to prepare for carrying out research-based activities at sea. Please note that you need to be able to float and swim at least 50 meters. Please be sure to rate your swimming ability when you apply to volunteer in Australia.
