(1) 动词不定式作目的状语 P121
We can use “to do sth” to express(表达) purpose(目的)
我们也可以使用in order to 来表达目的。这比使用动词不定式(to do )更加正式。
注意:由in order to引导的目的状语,既可以置于句尾,也可以置于句首。
They started early in order to get there in time.
In order to get there in time, they started early.
Take a notebook with you in order to write down what you see.
(2)动词不定式作宾语补足语 P121
动词+ sb. +(not) to do sth. 也就是“动词+宾语+动词不定式”。 动词不定式用于说明宾语的情况,在句子中作宾语补足语, 简称宾补。
We are now inviting you to help us.
We need more people to count and describe the birds.
动词不定式作宾语补足语,有带to和不带to两种形式。
引导不定式作宾补(带to)的动词:
advise(建议), ask(要求), invite(邀请), order(命令), teach(要求), tell(告诉), need(需要)
allow(允许), expect(期望), force(强迫),want(想要),warn(警告), wish(希望), would like(想要,愿意), encourage(鼓励) + sb. to do sth.

我们在动词不定式前加not来表达否定的含义。
1. advise sb. not to do sth
Our teacher advised us not to go to bed late .
2. tell sb. not to do sth
Our teacher told us not to spend much time playing computer games.
3. ask sb. not to do sth
We birds for any reason. (我们要求人们不要为任何理由去捕获鸟)
常跟不带to的动词不定式的动词

常跟不带to的动词不定式的动词口诀
一感:feel 二听:hear, listen to 三让:let, make, have 四看:look at, see, watch, notice
【注意】有些感官动词(如see、hear、watch、notice等)后也可接v-ing 形式作宾语补足语,强调宾语的动作正在进行。试体会:
I saw him playing basketball with Jack at 4:00 p.m.
下午四点钟的时候,我看见他正在和杰克打篮球。
When I passed by Liu Qin ’s room, I heard her talking on the phone.
当我经过刘琴的房间时,我听见她在打电话。
