初中英语语法知识精讲-八年级下册 初中语法专题:宾语从句 · 知识精讲 Part I 宾语从句的基本用法 动词或介词后均可跟宾语,宾语可以是名词、代词、动名词或从句。 · 从句作动词的宾语 · He told us (that) he felt ill. · I believe (that) he will win in the game. 二 从句作形容词的宾语 该类形容词或过去分词主要为:sure, glad, certain, happy, pleased, afraid, surprised, satisfied, disappointed 等,that 可以省略。 · I’m afraid(that)you don’t understand what I said. · I’m sure that he can finish his homework well. 三 从句作介词的宾语 · I’m curious at what he will say. Part II 宾语从句的连接词 连接词也可称为引导词,可以是 that, which, who 等关系代词,也可以是 when, where, why 等关系副词。 · 连接词 that,在从句中无词义,且不充当句子成分。常常省略。 · She knows (that) her mother will come back next week. · I am afraid (that) I can’t hang out with you this weekend. 【注意】宾语从句中,以下几种情况 that 不可以省略: (1) that 引导的宾语从句作 except,in,but,besides 等少数介词的宾语时,that不能省略。 · The article is perfect except that there are some spelling mistakes. (2) 宾语从句的主语为 that。 · He says that that is a useful book. (3) 从句前有插入语。 · It says, on the card, that it is made in China. (4) 当由并列连词连接 that 引导的两个及以上宾语从句时,第二个从句及之后的从句中的 that 不可省略。 · He said (that) the movie was very interesting and that he enjoyed seeing it very much. 二 连接词 if/whether,意为“是否”,在从句中不可省略,但不充当句子成分。 · I don’t if/whether you can help me. · I can’t decide whether I go out or not. 三 关系代词 who, whom, whose, what, which, whoever, whatever 在从句中有词义,且充当主语、宾语、表语、定语,不可省略。 · I wonder what he’s writing to me. · He can’t decide which sweater he should buy. 四 关系副词 where, when, how, why 在从句中有词义,且充当从句中的状语,不可省略。 · I want to know when you can finish the work. · I wonder why you are late today.
