Imaginary creatures, visual storytelling, and optical illusions will all be part of the fun. Campers will create ceramic sculptures, draw illustrations, make hand bound books, and learn a little magic trick too! We will also take a mysterious museum tour during this enchanting week! Cartooning Animation July 25-29 Instructor: Jennifer McDuffie This week students will learn about the basics of animation by stepping back into the past and learning how “moving pictures“ began by creating simple animation projects and articulated creatures. For those who love to draw, we will use storyboarding and illustration to create mnini comic books and classic animations. Exploring Art Styles August 8-12 Instructor: Elizabeth Baker This week will focus on various art movements throughout history. Young artists will develop their own unique artistic styles as they learn about the most famous art movements and styles.
