教材分析
本课是本单元的起始课,主题为人与人之间的联系,通过图表演示、听力与名言学习等方式,展现了人类的群体生活方式,让每个人与周边的人因各种原因产生交集,从而拥有了独特的生活。该部分起到了激活主题相关背景知识的作用,并为本单元后面的教学内容做了话题、词汇以及思维的铺垫。
教学目标
在本课学习结束时,学生能够:
1. 从听力中获取关于朋友交往的信息;
2. 分享与亲近的人之间的故事;
3. 讨论关于人际关系的名言。

教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
Use the diagram to talk about your connections or people who are related to you. How important are they to you?
设计意图:引入话题,激活学生已有知识;同时积极引导学生回顾、拓展与话题相关的表达。
Step 2 Pre-listening
Look at the pictures and learn the vocabulary.
设计意图:通过图片学习相关词汇,为听力活动做准备。
Step 3 While-listening
Read the Text Builder. Then listen to the dialogue and complete it by underlining the words or expressions you hear.
设计意图:在听前相关词汇表达铺垫的基础上,引导学生理解听力信息,完成句子;学生能够获取大致信息和一些细节信息,启发学生发现文本内部结构,为话题输出做好准备。
Step 4 Post-listening
Use the Text Builder to talk about a person that you have a close connection with, including the problems you had with him/her, and also what you have learnt from each other.
设计意图:帮助学生巩固所学,运用所学表达自己对人际关系处理应对的看法。
Step 5 Listening
Listen to the dialogue. Answer the questions.
设计意图:学生获取听力信息,完成问题。
Step 6 Writing
Use the language you have learnt to write a short paragraph about any problem you had with other people and how you managed to resolve the problem.
设计意图:引导学生运用本课所学表达自己的观点看法,巩固所学知识的同时,拓宽个人视野。
Step 7 Quote
How do you understand the quotes?
设计意图:希望学生通过对有关主题名言的小组讨论,启发他们对人际关系的进一步的思考。
Step 8 Notes
Guide Ss to learn the key language points.

1. Polish the paragraph about any problem they had with other people and how they managed to resolve the problem.
