冲刺2023年中考英语必考题型终极预测（广东专用） 专题08 读写综合 （2022·广东中山·二模） A．回答问题 As we all know, the 24th Winter Olympic Games were held in Beijing, China in February, 2022 and there were seven new events (项目) in the 2022 Winter Games. Unlike the Summer Olympics, the Winter Games are held on ice and snow. Skiing is one of the most popular Winter Olympic events. As a child who has grown up in southern China, I have hardly seen snow in winter. But I dreamed to try out skiing for myself when I was little. Three years ago, I finally realized this dream. During a family trip to Hokkaido, Japan, I got to go skiing. This was the first time that I had ever been able to enjoy this sport. I was too excited to say a word. After I put on my ski boots and stepped onto my ski, I realized that skiing was not easy at all. The snow was so slippery (滑的) that I slipped over and over again. The repeated failures, however, didn’t make me give up. I kept telling myself, “Never mind the fall. Try again. Come on! Success is just around the corner!” Though I was feeling terrible pain at that time, I stopped up and went on trying. Finally, I made it. From this experience of learning to ski, I learned that whenever we meet difficult, we should not lose our confidence (自信). As long as we are willing to keep trying, success will knock on our door sooner or later. 1．Which games were held in Beijing, China in February, 2022?   _______________________________________________________ 2．Where did the writer grow up?   _______________________________________________________ 3．When did the writer realize his dream to try skiing?   _______________________________________________________ 4．What did the writer think of skiing?   _______________________________________________________ 5．Why did the writer finally make it to ski?   _______________________________________________________ B．书面表达 6．第24届冬奥会在中国北京的成功举办又燃起了国民极大的运动热情。学校学生发展中心的“Voice of English”栏目想以“学习某种运动的经历”为题，征集同学们的作品做一期专题分享。请你用英文写一篇文章投稿，介绍你学习某种运动的经历。 内容包括： 1. 描述学
