Text Analysis: This is a listening and speaking course with the theme of teenage life. The listening materials is related to the clubs and club activities, which can help students know and choose school clubs.

1. Lead-in
Q: What’s student club so we have in our school ?
Ju: To arouse students’ interest.
2. Listening
(1) Pre-listening
Match the photos with the names of clubs, and discuss what the students are doing in the clubs. (A1)
Ju: To learn the kinds and function of school clubs.
(2) While-listening
Guide the students to listen to the first two conversations and choose the correct answers. (A2, A3)
Remind the students to pay attention to the Predict Content.
Ju: To develop students’ prediction ability and grasp key information.
3. Speaking

Make students read and imitate the conversation of A4.
