Teaching contents: checkout time &ticking time
Teaching aims and learning objectives:
1、 能通过听、说、读、写顺利完成checkout time中的相关练习和ticking time前三项检测内容。
2、 能用正确运用本单元所学句型介绍学校,感受校园生活魅力,表达对学校的热爱之情。
Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty:
1) Listen and number
2) Write down something about our school.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Revision time
T: Today, let’s go on learning unit 2 A new student. First, let’s review the story time according to your thinking map.
Group work:Take out your thinking map and try to retell story time.
Other groups ask some questions about their retelling.
Step 2 Checkout time
T: let’s go on。Guess. where is Nancy now? Look carefully!P25
Where is she?
T: Yes Nancy is on the second floor, beside the art room. Look at pictures again. Can you ask more questions about it?(practise in groups,ask more questions and answer)
