Teaching objectives:
By the end of this lesson, students will
1. Identify flowers, grass and trees as types of plants.
2. Name and describe some common plants.

Materials: a piece of A4 paper, 5 pieces of colour paper, a pair of scissors, a glue, some colour pens.

1. Students will identify flowers, grass and trees as types of plants.
2. Name some common plants like vegetables. And talk about the parts of plants that we eat/ use.
3. Encourage students to observe more kinds of plants in life.

Look at the picture and ask students what they can see. Introduce the new word “plants”and let the students understand the meaning of plants through looking at the pictures, and then move on to the next slide.
