We probably should have taken the road home from the baseball park. It was getting dark, though, and we decided to take the shortcut (捷径). I did not know there would be a train.

The shortcut from the baseball park to home was along the train tracks (轨道). After Reggie's game was over, we were excited. His team had won! Samantha and little Brittany were running to keep up.

It is reported that nearly 2.5 million primary school children in the United States have ADHD

(多动症). That is one out of ten children. Those children may have trouble sitting quietly. Some play with pencils, talk when they shouldn’t, and jump to do things before thinking. Others can sit still but find it hard to focus on(集中注意力于) schoolwork. However, ADHD does not have to be something that keeps youaway from achievements.

Astronaut Scott Kelly has flown on four space missions (太空飞行任务). But when he was growing up, he had trouble focusing in school. As a result, he got low grades.
