Tu Youyou(1930~)
Tu Youyou, female, was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.In 1951 she was admitted to Peking University.Tu Youyou has been engaged in traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine research.She discovered artemisinin(青蒿素), ①saving millions of lives worldwide especially in developing countries.In October 2015, Tu Youyou got Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
