Step 1 情景导入
Teacher:Look at the two cards of Millie and Simon on Page 38 and the letters on Page 39.Talk about what you have learnt with your partner.Then I’ll ask some students to retell the main idea of the two letters.
Step 2 复习
1.让学生再阅读一遍Page 36~37中的两封信。
2.让学生阅读后回答下面的问题。
(1)What is Millie’s problem?
She spends so much time doing her homework that she can’t find any time for her hobbies.
(2)What does she want Mr Sigmund Friend to do?
She hopes Sigmund can teach her how to achieve a balance between hobbies and study.
(3)What is Simon’s problem?
He spends too much time on football.He is crazy about it.But his parents don’t like this.
(4)What does he think of his parents?
They are strict.
Step 3 完成教材B3的任务
1.引导学生阅读Page 39中的两封分别给Millie和Simon的回信。
2.要求学生用所给的单词或短语将两封信补充完整。
3.引导学生总结两封信中给Millie和Simon的建议。
Step 4 小组讨论
1.组织全班分成几个小组,讨论下面的几个问题:
